Sunday Shuffle
Today on the Sunday Shuffle, the perfect song to dance in front of a mirror to. When you’re stuck alone at summer school, when you can’t stand the sight of anything anymore, put on ‘The News’ by Carbon/Silicon and feel a little lighter.

Hang On
Dr. Dog
I came across this track in the knick of time. It comes to us from King Tuff’s self-titled Subpop record and it’s called ‘Keep On Movin”. Upbeat and light on the surface, maybe ‘Keep On Movin” is a little darker than it seems at first listen. KT tells us there’s nothing to just trucking on, but we know that isn’t true! King Tuff knows it, too, and this sarcastic little score is cheery enough to make the summer mixtape, but meaningful enough to appreciate all year.

A Sweet Summer’s Night On Hammer Hill
Jens Lekman
Here We Go Magic almost matches the genius of ‘Collector’ in this song, ‘How Do I Know.’ ‘Collector’ wins lyrically, but this track sounds like a dream.
